The Rules
Before cards are dealt, one or more players may be required to place an initial amount of money into the pot, usually an ante (the first amount of money placed in a pot), a blind bet, or both. If you’re having trouble making a decision on the flop, check and raise. This will force weaker hands out of the pot, increasing your chance of winning.
