Entertaiment
A form of recreation that is enjoyable for an audience. It can be as personal as a person selecting their own private entertainment from the immense array of pre-recorded media; or as public as a banquet adapted for any number of people, with music, dancing, and speeches. Forms of entertainment have changed over the centuries, but many remain familiar. Even the use of newer media has not displaced some of the more familiar forms, such as stage magic, films, and video games. Some activities, such as hunting or archery, have developed into spectator sports and are now organized and broadcast at a global level for the benefit of the general public.
